Jason Herndon

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Jason Herndon is a Roots Rock, Americana, Alternative and Country artist. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, his first recollection of music was at an early age when he was exposed to 60’s and 70’s Country and Rock-N-Roll by way of his grandparents tube hi-fi console stereo/ turntable. Shortly after that, Herndon began raiding the record collections of his friends and family members where he started constructing his own style and taste for music. Herndon’s music doesn’t mirror any particular artists or styles, but there is a thread of influence that ties them all together. Jason’s live shows include original material that spans the distance from tender, heart-wrenching ballads to raucous, fretboard- burning rockers.

Herndon has worked with countless artist during his time at Fender Musical Instruments in Music City; Including Robert Plant, Eric Johnson, Keith Urban, Buddy Miller, John Jorgenson, Jerry Douglas and many more. He has also played guitar for smash songwriter Shane McAnally and several others. Herndon resides in Nashville where he writes songs for Southern Crossroads Music Publishing, works with legendary producers like Fred Mollin(Jimmy Webb, Kris Kristofferson), Julian Raymond (Cheap Trick, Freddie Mercury) and has spent the last 8 years on the road with “The Voice” star and country giant Blake Shelton. Herndon is an artist, songwriter, guitar player, producer and Martin Guitars clinician, working on his next release, coming soon.
