Michael ONeill has launched a Kickstarter page to help fund his next release; “Bringing Home the Bacon “.

The release has been a year in the making with writing sessions starting about this time last year. There are incredible songs on this new album, many of which were co-written within the Southern Crossroads Roster.

The band is compiled from the A list of Los Angeles musicians featuring, Tony Braunagel, Johnny Lee Schell, Bob Glaub, Mike Finnigan, Doug Pettibone and Dean Parks. Their list of credentials include; Stevie Wonder, Taj Mahal, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Diana Ross, Journey, Jackson Browne, Lucinda Williams, Crosby & Nash and Bob Seger, to just name a few!!

Crossing Rock, Folk, Country and Americana, the tracks are reminiscent of the 70’s songwriter style, where emphasis was put on the formations of song; built around the story melody and chord changes.

The Kickstarter video is pretty special, with photos from the studio sessions, and a couple of previews of new tracks that will feature on the album. So show your support and get behind Michael on this project. There are some great incentives, but first check out the video (below) and then check out the PROJECT HERE.
