Formed in 2010 SCM has achieved cuts with major artists and have had many of their songs placed throughout film, TV and trailer campaigns. Significant cuts on albums receiving RIAA certifications include “The Book Of John” on the Tim McGraw release, “Two Lane of Freedom”, “Tell Me Where To Park” on the Brett Eldredge release “Bring You Back” and “How High” on the Kip Moore “Wild World (Deluxe)” album.

Southern Crossroads Music (“SCM”) is an independent music company, formed in 2010, that originally focussed on music publishing and production in the Country, Alt Country, Americana, Roots and Folk genres worldwide.

SCM owns a music catalog that includes cuts by Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw, Trisha Yearwood, Gretchen Wilson, Lonestar, Diamond Rio, Chris Cagle, Steve Lukather, Brett Eldredge, Kip Moore and Anthony Smith.

The last four years has seen SCM develop an additional niche providing music production and related music services in the motion picture and TV industries. As well as its continued sync activity, SCM principals have provided bespoke music composition and production and also music producer and supervision services to many independent film and TV production companies. It has provided those services to independent film companies including  Goldfinch Entertainment Group and Cinestaan Film. This has included the release of a back catalog of original soundtracks that its affiliate, Goldfinch Music has  produced, via a distribution agreement with Movie Score Media. All ongoing SCM releases, both motion picture soundtracks and artist releases will be released under SCM’s label imprint.

SCM is headed by former CEO of S1 Songs Group and S1 Songs (America), Steve McMellon and the founder and CEO of Silva Screen Records Group, Reynold D’Silva.

S1 was the music publisher for the “DreamWorks” Music catalog, Sheryl Crow, Creed, Evanescence and a very high profile Nashville writer and joint-venture roster with cuts on records by Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Reba, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and George Strait amongst others.

Silva Screen is a longstanding, globally renowned independent international soundtrack label and owns a series of affiliate labels including the successful So Recordings.

SCM has offices and representation in London, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles and New Orleans and a current sub-publishing deal in Australia and New Zealand.
