Chris Corney


Chris Corney is UK based Producer, Songwriter & Musician. He has been writing and producing for over 20 years, and as a multi-instrumentalist has performed worldwide.

Corney has produced and recorded music by artists such as Ronnie Wood, The Quireboys, Joe Elliott (Def Leppard) and Tracie Hunter. He has also found time to release 4 self-written critically acclaimed albums of his own.

In 2006 Chris’ band ‘The Ravines’ released their debut (and only) album “Manifesto of a Broken Heart”, the strength of this album won the hearts of the American power-pop scene, to whom it is still considered somewhat of a ‘cult classic’. Chris, with ‘The Ravines’ are currently working on a new album to be released later this year.

As an in demand producer and songwriter, Chris has gained TV placements for his tracks, which makes Southern Crossroads an ideal home for his talent, one which will be represented worldwide.  BRIT award winning artist Peter Cox cut Chris’ ‘Dashboard Lights’ on his ‘Riding The Blinds’ album released in 2012.
